What is it with some ND fans who want the Irish to cancel games?
I love watching Notre Dame football - I don't want less games for God's sake. Yet some fans are saying -"we need to cancel the Syracuse and Wake Forest games because of potential injuries and a chance of an upset. Playing these games hurt ND's chances to make the playoffs"
Why don't those fans then push for a 4 game regular season and a 64 team playoff. That would assure ND of making the playoffs. Of course, it will also result in less ND games for us to watch an enjoy.
We should play, but I don't think we should make up the Wake game given all the other cancellations

I agree we should not make up the Wake Forest game unless it counts against us
For years we were told we only play 12 games and don’t have a 13th but this year the PAC 12 is 4 games short, Big 10 is 3 games short and right now Alabama and Clemson have both missed games. I don’t hear anyone bringing that up?
I disagree, anything short of not meeting ACC protocols, is not reason for cancelling games, and
seeing the IRISH ON saturdays is to be cherished . Hopefully we have two more games to enjoy, before ACC title game, then playoffs....Especially next week ND needs to play, last home game for seniors/5th seniors who dont want to take advantage of NCAA eligibility rule, and will be moving on...PLus a win means 4 straight yrs of double digit wins..They better play..

Couldn't agree with you more - this is footbaal - you want to play every day not every week - we are tougher, more disciplined - fucking just BETTER tan everyone else - play ever down , every quarter, every game and let's see who is better- enough said
