Some numb-skulls may not consider Wake much of a challenge....

but I promise you that the ND players and staff know for certain they could easily lose that game if they do not play well. How do I know? Smart guys who have played the game at a high level simply know they can lose to any team on a given day when that team is motivated. Like Carolina, Wake can move the ball and score in a hurry. And like Carolina, their defense will go on the field thinking they will pitch a shutout. Like any team ever, ND just might help them do it.

Not saying the Irish will lose that game, but it will be played with a pointed ball.

Now, Syracuse just might be another story.

Syracuse has the talent of a good high school team.

In Connecticut.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame
