God may not care who wins, but His mother does

Things like that can't hurt recruiting. Kids seem to like that kinda stuff.

Is LeBron a ND fan? I would have assumed he likes tOSU and ND.

Lebron played at a Catholic HS. They were the Irish too. ND recruited him for football.

I think there has always been a connection there.

Yes. I watched him play in HS against Archbishop Alter.

Like a lot of his games, it was moved to a large arena.

I still remember the hype about him way back when.

Never actually saw him play as a HSer. I can imagine him as a TE or a jumbo WR, though. He obviously made the right choice career-wise, but I bet he would have been a hell of a football player.

He might have been impossible to cover as a TE.

They do and it’s good for recruiting. He has supported tOSU in the past and would if ND comes up

...against them in a playoff game. You can count on it.

Typical NE or SW Ohio. tOSU first, but ND a close second.

Seems like it has always been that way. Not that there aren't some Catholics who have those reversed. That's why Woody Hayes said he never wanted to schedule Notre Dame. He didn't want all the Catholics in SW and West Central Ohio have to choose.

Kyren certainly deserves the accolades...

...even if they’re coming from a douchebag like LeBron.
