who is in the booth is not at the bottom of the list for me. They all add tot he insight and I have yet to find any detracting from the game itself. Now, if Bill Walton starts doing college football, I may change my mind.

they are perhaps overly familiar. As time passes, I appreciate more and more Pat Summerall's wonderfully understated style, letting the game and the big plays stand on their own, not trying to talk over them (somethibg Fowler should learn to emulate). Dick Enberg's elegance was also top notch. I don't think even Al Michaels matches them. No one else is even close IMHO

I just dislike both Herbie and Fowler, so that makes it tough.

I think objectively they did a decent job, but both guys just irritate me in general.
