AD has already came out and said they are looking for an offensive minded coach
Lea will surely get an interview if he wants it, but my guess is he isn’t a serious candidate. No worries though, others will be calling.

As for the type of coach, Lee said she would be open minded.
“Having said that, demonstrated ability to run a program (is important),” she said, and added that head coaching experience is something she’s interested in but not a deal-breaker. “Offensive-minded coach is something I’m interested in. Doesn’t mean that the head coach has to be an offensive coach, but staff will matter.”

match with their stated reason of firing Mason now to get a new coach and staff in place before the early signing deadline in a couple weeks. Lea wouldn't conceivably abandon his post at ND while on a clear path to the CFP, would he?
