Although I know that many, many UM fans would relish such an affront if it were directed our way, I still don't like unverified slander being thrown out on national TV. Herbstreit needs to produce his evidence or feel some consequences.

As much as it pains me to stand up for UM, I really feel that Herbstreit crossed a line (unless of course, he can prove it).

UM and OSU tied 10-10 and finished with identical 9-0-1 records but the Bucks (Pete Johnson /Archie Griffin) went to the Rose Bowl when MSU voted to send OSU over their in-state rival. Lots of bad blood over the years based on this. But I don't see any indication that the game this year is cancelled. Rivals has it still scheduled. Is this supposition on his part?

.....while Herbstreit May only be familiar with out of control programs where such chicanery could take place,
I am familiar enough with the UM medical system to know that such a decision would never be allowed to be made by the FB program.
