IMHO I thought he would be the starting RB at beginning of the season. Really happy that Williams
has proved me wrong. He runs the ball great but he takes a lot of pride in his blocking, like a smaller #24!

I was of the same opinion
Though he was not a runaway threat, he runs harder than any back I have seen since watching Robert Wheeler fight for every inch against Michigan. What a workhorse!!
Had no idea Williams would prove to be so talented in so many ways though, and maybe no one else did either since no Spring game. Just shows what a determined mind and great learner can do when he believes in himself. ND is fortunate to have them both.... and so is Tyree as he has great leaders from which to learn.
