Notre Dame among the four schools listed as a possible destination for FSU's Jaiden Lars-Woodbey, who has entered the transfer portal.

Lars-Woodbey says he could play the Rover spot in the Irish defense.

the NFL. He's going to have to work hard in the classroom as well as on the field at ND. Easier paths at the other schools in my opinion.

Also has to compete with Isaiah Pryor

From what I can see, Isaiah Pryor is ready to step in as the starting rover after Wu leaves. He's already familiar with the system, and is a polished, experienced player.

He did suffer a serious injury. Maybe it wised him up about hedging his bets.

What is cool is that he is focused on camaraderie and academics

If this is our rep we will do just fine with recruiting quality people.

He sure doesn't sound like he's focused on academics.

Wondering if his desire to be "one and done" will eliminate him.

All our grad transfers are one and done and many of our players would be if allowed.

The money is too much to pass up. And the University allows players to return after their pro careers are over.

He isn't a Grad transfer and presumably 1 year at ND wouldn't be enough to earn his degree.

I just can't remember that we've had this situation before so there is no precedent.

Why wouldn’t he have to sit out a year?
