Could the next ND QB1 be a transfer? Interesting possibilities. Have we ever had one before at QB?

Hope not. Mathis on the top of the list stinks.

Jack, he is a banker
and Jane, she is a clerk

Maybe Dennis Grosel. That would be kind of ironic.

We have three scholarship QB's on the roster for next year, and either Clark or Pyne, depending on who gets what first team reps, will be good to go after spring practice.

That, plus the bowl game gives us another 15 practices we can use.

Normally I’d agree, but Clark heading into 2021 injured changes things

I wouldn’t be surprised if they go this route.

I think this article is sheer speculation by someone who has nothing better to do.

I doubt it happens, and it doesn't work unless we can get a transfer in for spring ball.

If Kelly wants to so this, he'd better make sure the guy is the #1 guy. And that is usually going to be a huge question mark knowing Kelly's history with Qbs which isn't exactly in anyone's "history of success" parade. I think they'd be sticking a big middle finger in our current qb's collective faces. And since the transfer will probably have 2 years left, doubly so for Buchner. Theoretically, it solves a problem but it might be a knife in the back re: recruiting future qbs. If the two we have have already determined to be inadequate, fine but I doubt that is the case.

If Clark's injury is such that he hasn't been operated on yet, chances are he will be fully recovered for fall. Yes, it does create issues for his development in the spring

If Buchner enrolls in the spring, that eliminates the # of qbs in spring issue.

Definitely have to be smart about it but you also have to field a team next year

Clark injured.

Buchner probably not physically ready.

Pyne?

That’s not a promising line up unless next year we are throwing the towel in and accepting a rebuild year. Sad, because the defense will be good again.

Isn’t that with most of the remarks on here

We don't get published and paid for making shit up!

We're a bunch of fan boys/girls. Idle speculation is what we do most of the time.

Clark has barely any playing time. He does know the offense but he has never put it to use.

With just a bit of sarcasm, I'm thinking BK already knows who his starter will be the next 3 years.
