Will Book get pounded next week by clemson?

No. And no.

Book doesn’t have exceptional physical talent — not an elite arm or great size. But he’s good at a lot of things, which add up to a good QB. I see no reason why he would get “pounded” by Clemson. He played well the first time this season against Clemson.

Let s wait to see if he is mediocre in the NFL it's another level for sure

Very good college QB. Beyond that ... time will tell. Changes in how the NFL is using QBs might work

in his favor.

Book doesn't have a great arm and his vision can be questioned at times.

That being said, there's not another QB I'd rather have starting for ND next Saturday.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame

my bigger concern would be if Kelly will be able to keep winning consistently like this after Book leaves.

B&G has him in the MT Rushmore of ND QBs;that's far from mediocre

I wouldn't say Book is mediocre - I'd say he knows how to win and will use every bit

of his talents (a bit limited in size and arm strength) and football instincts to WIN......as for next week, I see Venables putting a "spy" on Book, playing their CB's in tight 1:1 coverage, and blitzing the whole game.

How to WIN. Yep!

2 of those 3 are dependent on the type of offense you run.

Exactly statistics have to have some thought applied to them before you determine their validity.
