Might be a good time for a couple CV cases for ND and Clemson to cancel ACC title game

I hate to say that. But neither team has anything to gain really playing this game. They are both in the playoff right now. If Clemson loses, they are out. If Notre Dame loses reasonably they are probably still in.

Dangerous to get into this close loss thing...

we helped save ACC football and probably D-1 as we know it (kudos to both ACC and SEC ). ACC cares a wit if we make playoffs as the conference championship game and a NY6 for ND largely suffices $- wise for 2d playoff team. Let's face it- Clemson is the school that "brung ACC to the dance", not ND. ND must win or we are at the mercy of a conference (ACC) who will not lobby for us despite the current pretenses and a conference (SEC) who wants their 2d team in -TAMU. and will work for it.

I think the ACC will lobby hard for ND

In a time where money and exposure are at a premium it just makes sense. Plus, as much as the media and coaches make ND to be out to be the evil no conference program using the ACC, the ACC and ND are partners and the people that need to know that, know it.

Now if you’re into conspiracies, then you may think a couple flags thrown against ND might be a little questionable this weekend. Haha

Don't care about Clemson and I think we are a lock. So play on.

True, but a loss this Saturday probably guarantees a semi date with Alabama.

A win, and ND should be the #1 seed.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame

Desite my reservations above, I would gladly take a semi against Bama...

Facing Bama in the Semis would make me sad.
