He should be confident - If he wasn't confident, the team would be in trouble before it begins.

PS: Book and Co. did leave in the neighborhood of another 15 to 21 points off the board through mistakes in the last game. No reason not to be confident.

Though I don't think one player or even two players can make that much of a difference on the UC defense the one true biggest difference last game for ND's
offense was Kyren Williams blitz pick-ups - If he is as good as last game, ND could score those extra points if mistakes aren't made.

Less false starts and holding calls will also play a big role in ND's offense.
