That said, I must say that OSU and Fields [once again] don't look all that impressive, and am really not sure why they deserve to be in the CFP conversation. Not only have they only played half a season, and that half was played with numerous COVID-induced 'bye' weeks that allowed potential dinged up players to heal (thereby avoiding the natural attrition/injuries that occur during the course of a full season, which teams from the conferences that started back in September all had to deal with), but they really haven't looked all that impressive against a conference half-slate that hasn't been all that imposing.
