On a pass where PI is called, does it count as an attempt in the stats?

And if it does, does it go down as a completion?

I don't believe illusions because too much is for real.

I believe the answer is 'no'...

It's not considered a pass attempt unless the pass is completed and the penalty waived. If the penalty is accepted, it's neither a completion nor an attempt.
