A lot of naysayers and whiners today
ND defense matches up well with Alabama. I think ND keeps them in high 20’s, low 30’s. Bama defense not great, ND scores 28-33 points they win game. Bama hasn’t played a defense like ND and I think Clemson offense much harder to defend than Bama because qb isn’t a rpo/run threat. Will be a physical trench game and ND can win that. Stop the sky is falling and here we go again bs.

Was Clemson that game? If so we survived and are in the playoffs. Focus on Bama. Trevor Lawrence is a stud for which we had no answer. Bama is a team that just engulfs you.We need to come out strong like we did in both Clemson games and throw them off stride, and this time capitalize on momentum. I would marry JOK to their RB/WR and trust Kyle to play centerfield, or somehow have JOK and Kyle pass off this guy or he will hammer us. Their QB is a big kid with a quick release who is not the RPO threat Lawrence was. Maybe defense the way we did UNC or Clemson's backup QB.
All teams but one or two have at least one crap game a year, hell Alabama lost one in 2012. How many
teams go both unbeaten and/or don't struggle in at least one or two of their games....unless they only play 6 or a weak schedule?

Coaching is not the issue idiot. When a more talented team has more time to prepare the cream is
going to rise to the top a far greater percentage of the time. We just have to hope it happens be the 20% time it does not.

Yep, that’s the wildcard here. Rees and Kelly can’t do same old/same old here. Book needs to be decisive on throws and first reads. Do that and will open up run game. Bottom line is ND will need a couple breaks and also hoping to catch Bama being too over confident and looking ahead. Not an easy task, but not impossible. Bama in for a rude awakening.... by the 2nd qtr Bama will be in a fight that they weren’t expecting.
ND got early breaks versus Clemson...and squandered them...
Eventually Kelly’s eyes glazed over like they do when he’s getting his ass handed to him...

SEC sucks, no defense. I’m very confident this game will be decided in the 4th qtr. Clemson had 3 explosive plays that killed us. Won’t happen again. A few key plays could have swung the momentum but they all went against ND. Can’t wait for game on Jan 1.
