Alabama is a better matchup then Clemson.

Clemson came in wanting to prove that 1st game was a fluke. They also knew a loss would would knock them out of the playoffs. The two biggest reasons are ND doesn't have to worry about the read option. Lawrence ran that to perfection. Bama' also lost their center against Florida. Their receivers and running backs are still monsters. Hopefully the defense can keep them in check for a while. There were times Lea had the safety's 15 yards back against North Carolina. Kelly needs to take some pages out of Andy Reid's playbook. Kansas City always throws 2 or 3 gimmics the opponent hasn't seen on tape. ND's receivers do not seperate. Take the three step drop and control the call. Is it going to be easy? Hell no but if you remember Notre Dame kicking #1 Texas ass in that 78' Cotton Bowl you have to believe anything is possible.

They might be a better match up than the Kansas City Chiefs.

Notre Dame was physically superior to Texas in that 78' Cotton Bowl

We won the game with both lines.

Every ND team in the 70's was stacked.

Winning the '78 Cotton Bowl was no miracle.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame
Invincibility with no vulnerability

But losing to a 30 point underdog in Mississippi was one of the worst of all time.

Trying to run down Najee and DeVonta will be pure bliss. Irish "O" has to do their part.
