Most exciting well play game throughout was ND over Bama in 1973, most exciting finish for a poorly
played game was Harry Oliver's field goal to win game against Michigan in 1980, most exciting game with controversial calls but 2nd to 1973, was over Miami in 1988. Cotton Bowl win over Houston was for nothing and played in horrific weather but it was memorable because it is part of Joe Montana's legacy and involved and epic comeback with a great "chicken soup" story.

There would be no "now" if there wasn't incredibly important wins "then". Every generation will tell you about the greatest ND wins ever.
