I like the ND connection of Freeman but don’t know much about his coaching
I like it. Elston is probably deserving as well but is he DC material? I don’t know but he’s done well at his roles while at ND.
With signing day done, there is no rush
You won't see much until middle of January other than the typical click bait articles from alleged "sports journalist" who know less than our own Frank!

The only 3 names I've heard from those that cover ND are Marcus Freeman from Cinci, Elko possibly returning, and Elston getting promoted, but this has just been conjecture. There have been no interviews, nor are there any scheduled.
