Did BK have that same glazed look in big games at his other stops? Opponents are starting to notice.

the face readers, what bs, anybody would not have an expression of joy when the other team scores or we mess up. Nothing to do with how we were beaten by a team playing at their best one day while we could not make a key play. It does not mean we cannot the next series or the next game. I bet you had a "glazed look" at the time.

I did not have that glazed look because BK and big games have become all too familiar.

Save your lecture. I'm just as much a loyal Domer as all the rah rah guys, only I live in the town of Realville. Losing all these big games by large margins would seem to get a little old to the rah rahs. You want to see that glazed look? Check out BCS Bama game, in the tunnel , pre-game, while the Tide was walking by to enter the field. You want to see that glazed look? Check out 2019 Michigan. You think the ACC game against Clemson was a blip? Hopefully our rookie OC and our offense can generate some points against the Tide . If not, look for that all too familiar sideline stare.

First of all if you can see the difference between glazed and serious, congratulations. Second of

all I feel it is more likely that Alabama beats us easily rather than us upsetting them. We have a shot and that is the best we could have hoped for when comparing our roster to their roster. We do have a shot because of the way we navigated the season beating Clemson who maybe was a number 5 team because Lawrence and the others did not play, and the way we beat an offensive minded North Carolina team with a prolific offense.

Just for the record is that a "glazed look" on the Coastal Carolina coach right now?

There are 130 D-1 football programs. How many have done better than BK over the past 11 years?

In a class that now ranks 3rd highest all time. Not a knock on Kelly, he is a top 5 coach and has ND as a top 4 program. So people can bitch all they want but do they remember where this school was prior to him? The football landscape has changed significantly since Holtz and Kelly has been better for this program than anyone. All that said, it is a two school race every year nowadays

We've ascended to the top of the second tier, that's a long ways up the ladder from where we started when Kelly was hired, he should get credit for that. Whether we can reach the top or not, with Kelly or someone else is questionable in my mind. We'll see.
