Did Josh Lugg beat out Zeke or was Zeke hurt for Clemson;

Id rather see Zeke at center, as I think he's the heir apparent, a true center, and I wasn't impressed by the other guy vs Clemson, to put it kindly..

Lugg's natural position is at tackle

He can also fill in nicely at guard, but simply isn't a natural center.

Still, he was the best available player at the time, to fill in after both Patterson and Correll were injured.

He was hurt. Likely ready for Bama

This is good, because they picked on Lugg (who is great at his normal position)

The comment on the article is spot on, Book gets time to throw. He tends to hold onto the ball too long. When he gets flushed he rather take a sack or gain for loss versus throw it away. After 3 years of starting not sure how he doesn't have that ability.

I think the unit was elite before Patterson went down

He’s 1a or 1b on the line. Losing him hurt.

Lugg is hurt playing out of position.

Kraemer hasn’t looked the same since his surgery.

Hopefully the time off gets the unit closer to where it was before it got hit by the injury bug.
