If I remember correctly, in the 2012 NC game, Ala. players said they knew what play ND's...

offense was running most of the time. I hope Kelly/Rees have put in a different look to
disguise their usual plays. “Those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it.”

You are correct. Al players said after game that they knew the plays coming but didn’t explain how.

Teams like Alabama both prepare and play at a higher level.

I'm not sure Kelly has improved that weakness since then.


Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame

I think it was more that they knew they could change their defensive look pre-snap and....

they knew what plays we would switch to. So, they could essentially "force" or fool us into plays they knew were coming. All based on our tendencies of how our offense adjusted to certain defensive looks.

I don't believe illusions because too much is for real.

They knew by the O packages Kelly would put on the field. They were always the same

and Bama was on each one of them.

It seemed Clemson was pretty much in tune with what ND was doing offensively in the second meeting.
