Rebuild, reformat, re-introduce, as usual.
If it worked for Kiffin and Sarkisian, then I'm sure Pruitt would be just fine in the long run.

Besides the investigation he was a goner with only going 16&19 I three years and 3&7 this year. Won’
cut it in the SEC.

That is 100% why the University opened their in-house investigation
If Pruitt had been winning, there is no way that Tennessee would have started this investigation. While it might save them money on the buyout, it looks like they may have opened a Pandora's box. When the NCAA begins their look-in, they might just find enough to apply bowl bans and scholarship reductions to Tennessee.
