Cat and Dog Linebacker

What in the world is a "Cat" and a "Dog" linebacker? Just a new name for strong and weak? I have never heard of this expression before. Thanks for your answers.

I think it would be Cat for Cover, Dog for Down. Probably the OLB's like you think.

“They were like, we have a really good position for you,” Councell said. “You have to be a larger-body type to play the CAT position. All the other schools want me to put on another 40 pounds, but Notre Dame, they’re not worried about the weight. They said to put it on natural.They just want my speed. (Burton) seems like an athletic player, and the whole defense is looking good.

“If I should go there, they said there are two seniors at the DOG position, and they said there would be a good chance for me to come in and start as a freshman.”
