ND has good pitching, plays great D, and can hit when needed.
Add the fact that they're almost all 5th and 6th year players, and are having a great time playing together.

I agree with that. There’s much more parity. It’s usually 1-3 dominant teams w/ pitching.
This year, lots of offense and more unpredictable. Fun to watch.
