Did the lottery ticket purchase. Can now buy up to 8 tix for some games. Can get Shamrock pass for all 6 games for $500 but I don’t think they are guaranteed to be next to each other if you get multiple passes. It sure seems like after decades of sellouts ND is now treating gimmicks to sell tickets. Looking at the schedule this year and going forward most years there are maybe one or two games look good, then a bunch of “meh”. Little continuity other than USC, Stanford, Navy. Really miss Michigan, MSU, Purdue, Miami, Penn St - even Air Force - much better when 7 or 8 games were annual or almost so. Clemson, FSU and Miami potential for good ACC rivalries but hard to have a rivalry when a player will probably only play each team once. Don’t know the answer but it seems like we have a decade of home games being 80 percent duds.

Outside of that span in the 80s/90s we've hardly played Penn State at all. Less than 20 times? I do miss Michigan State and Purdue. Pitt and UNC are suitable replacements for those 2 IMO.
PSU was annual from 81-92. They dropped us when joined Big 10. GATech had been sporadic - not sure we played them once between 81 and 97 and only 2005-6 before ACC thing. Pitt was great 70s 80s games. UNC rare. Thing I like about MSU and Purdue was proximity and familiarity with their teams, history, coaches, players, fans - road trips to away games very easy esp for students. Great tailgaters home and away. ND travelled well there and Vice versa even in bad years for either or both teams. I don’t think Wake, Duke, Louisville etc replace them well.
