OSU brings in two 5 Star WR in a week. As of now the recruiting on offense isn't that much different than what Kelly brought in. Freem needed to make a statement that he could bring in the best offensive talent in the country. As of yet that hasn't happened. Maybe it will but it's got to happen this year.
We got one of the top QB's for 2024, and one who is already mechanically sound with a top notch football IQ.
We have Tobias Merriweather coming in this fall, and Braylon James coming in next year. Both are higher level 4 star players with very high ceilings and are already pretty polished, and I suspect we'll get another high ceiling WR committing soon.
This year will be a great chance for Lorenzo Styles to become a big name receiver. We saw some flashes of his abilities last season, and he really stepped up his game during the Fiesta Bowl.
I have a lot more faith in Coach Stuckey to develop these guys into much higher caliber players than Del Alexander would have.

sounds reasonable that this year is life or death.
Not only did he take his Qb & Wr from Oklahoma & Pitt's Wr who was the best in the country he has a 5 Star Qb & Wr for 2023. The top teams all kill you with matchups.
Steals a few of his old players, and that's an indictment on first time head coach at ND who is putting together one of the best ND classes in a long long time?
There's no meat on those bones.

OSU has the superior QB, RB, and WR's in comparison to SC.
freeman got better wr’s so far than Riley has gotten lineman, Freeman got 5* Carr for ‘24, Freeman has a line on multiple real potential recruits at his areas of need, and all while Freeman is essentially frozen out of the transfer portal except for a few good academic schools because of Notre Dame’s higher admission standards than USC.
At one point ND didn't play in bowl games. Then they didn't redshirt. In order to compete they have to play by the same rules as the Big Boys. They have to fill gaps like the Womens Basketball program. Muffet did it and so is Ivey. If academics will always be the crutch to lean there is no way in hell they will ever win a National Championship. Alabama, Ohio St., Georgia & now USC just wait for players to transfer in. The system is broken and until they get a handle on it it's the Wild West. And this isn't about Freeeman. It's about the Notre Dame Administration tying one arm behind his back just like they did with Kelly. They're fine with making it to the playoffs but aren't willing to put it all on the line to win a NC.
…if they cross that line, then they are no longer special.
The line is more important in several ways than the championship.
Georgia won a championship last year….but they still aren’t Notre Dame.

His offenses at Oklahoma lit up the scoreboard. Riley will bring in more talent now that he's at USC and ND has to play them every year. The Trojans will be in the hunt for a NC by year three. Mark it down. This series goes in streaks. USC is due.
