If ND wants to join a conference, do it. If not, then don't. No one asks us about scheduling, pricing, Green Outs, Blue Outs, renovations, players Mass, or post game traffic control. I'm a cynic about all this college athletics for the student stuff coming out of the pie holes of the university presidents and ADs. Sending a USC tennis team to play at Rutgers doesn't sound too good for the student part of Student/athlete. ND will know it's time to join when the weight of all this TV and super conference money becomes too much to miss out on. The beloved Rose Bowl is dying a slow death because of all this.

It has been obvious for years that the traditions of college football were slowly dying with each progressive change, but the Rose Bowl had managed to mostly fend off major changes. That ended yesterday.
