18 year olds have commitment anxiety... as do members of this board.

You never know though. Hopefully it's much ado about nothing.

What happens to the Saban players who don't make it in the NFL?

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame

He talks to these guys every day. I'm sure he's discussed the pitfalls of these schools.

But it seems to me the overall experience at ND would better prepare these kids for life after football beyond the connections part. And it looks like kids nowadays are thinking about life after football more than they did even a few years ago.

A predominately Catholic university better prepares them for life? Asking for a friend.

From what I've seen on the outside and from what others have said, it takes an extra measure of discipline to succeed at ND that the other schools lack. Tougher classes, more study time, more accountability.

I went to Notre Dame, but know plenty of people that went to plenty of other schools that prepared them just fine. I agree it’s a great education, but be specifically said “prepare them for life better”

I will always question bullshit; doesn’t mean I don’t support the team. I think we will have a fantastic team this coming season.

I hear you Woody. All good. I’m looking forward to the season
