Won 8 str8, lost season finale 27-25 to USC, as usual ripped off by horrendous call in LA. Then finished the season with a W in Cotton Bowl chicken soup game and 7th ranked.Of course, that team had a guy named Montana @QB..

Devine was the worst offensive mind in CFB. We had enough talent to win despite him.

Dan Devine went ultra conservative and back to the basics to defeat Purdue 10-6.At that point of season,3rd game, Devine just wanted a win. Great job by him getting team untracked.

9 trips in/near red zone in the opener at home & his play calling got us shutout by unranked Mizzou.

ND drove all day, couldn't score even with Montana, The game 2, a 28-14 loss to scUM, I attended.

They beat some pretty decent teams heading into that USC game. That's why they play the games.
