We should not be looking at any QBs under 6 foot for sure. I don't worry about the stars too much. He may be great , we will see. I am not sure we want our QBs coach messing with any recruit that looks like he can already play.
Secondly, those offers are reported by the players themselves and not the schools. Minchey is not an active social media guy and on top of that he was committed to Pitt for a long time. Maybe he didn't report offers after he had shut his recruiting down. Maybe he stopped taking calls from interested schools. You have no idea what schools wanted him.

I guess what i Don’t like is the changing of the idea of student athlete to a sort of mercenary status. But I do feel for the student who doesn’t get a fair shot at playing and needs to find a better spot.

What I didn't know was, he had a shoulder injury and played in only a few games in his senior year giving
him a lower star grade by the recruiting services.
His commitment totally enhances ND's recruiting strength. His commitment puts ND probably into the top 3 class
