I have never been in favor of it until my nephew reminded me of how Urban Meyer used Leak & Tebow. I'm not saying any of the current QB's have that type of talent but it might play to their strong suit. Buchner was definitely a Red Zone Qb.

I mean, I like the talent on the roster and the potential. But, having 4 options that all seem good means you have no clear starter, which isn't what you want, and 3 potential to likely transfers.
We'll see how it plays out. Setting Leonard aside due to eligibility, how crappy would it be to see any of the other 3 do better elsewhere?
Angeli or Minchey will likely hit the portal next week.
Four is a crowd.

Or Leonard. My vote is minchey. Carr sounds likley to rise up the chart and minchey isn’t passing Angeli.
And perhaps next year Carr might be what u want, a clear cut #1. Time will tell. I know spring reports don’t mean much after spring but this kid might be the real deal. Physical talent and an really good mental grasp of the game
...perfect match. Minchey has more promise. Carr could grow into QB1 after the A&M game if Leonard goes down, God forbid. It's a very weak schedule ..let him cut his teeth. Angeli wants to start, so let him - at Rutgers!

That I don’t have an answer to. I think all coaches might say, yes, if it helps our team. It is harder to manage than QB1. But yes I think in theory it can work.
I say you run the same type plays if one has to substitute for the other but generally the two QB system is not sustainable.
And QBs are in and alignment. I call the majority of the plays pre snap and I don’t know much about football.

Pretty easily. Then it comes down the execution and against equal or better teams u don’t get good results.

Tim Tebow was a situational QB as a freshman. He had certain packages that were for specific situations. Chris Leak was the recognized QB1 on that team.
ND used something similar in '21 with Coan and Buchner.
You know the saying about having two starting QBs. It has pretty much held true most of the time. I would be very leery if that became the situation with this ND team.
