We had talent all over the roster (except at QB), and knew that we could improve.
I doubt FSU finishes this season ranked. They were supposed to have all of the talent in the world after bringing in all of those 4+ star players, especially the 5 from Alabama, and so far, they look putrid.
This loss wasn't as close as the score indicated, either. BC could easily have punched it in for a TD at the end.
Which means jack. Don't you guys ever learn? With every loser coach since Lou, we've gone through
this. Some of you start with the big talk and begin gloating and laughing at other programs, and then ND inevitably lays a couple eggs and fans laugh at ND. I don't get it. What exactly are you guys thinking?
There was a time that ND wouldn't go to anything other than four bowls and the idea of bragging about being in the final rankings was justifiably described as loser talk. Keep a little more humility amidst the customary three losses over the course of the next few months.
Stay humble until after game 16 then be happy as hell.
