I heard on a Chicago radio show the numbers NIU put up last week were huge.

And they did..........against Western Illinois. A program that has lost 23 in a row. A program that has gone 4-47 over the last five years. Each Irish opponent should be considered armed and dangerous but NIU will not face an opponent like the 2024 Irish. So, what's it going to be guys? Sleepwalk through 4 Quarters and come out with a win or end this game by halftime? No crime in finishing this game off early.

I expect us to come out and have a great performance...this team looks hungry for greatness and

while they are happy with the Win, I don't think any of them are satisfied with their performance.

If Leonard gets time to pass I think this will be a major blowout where they put up some points on our backup when we sub starters out in 2nd half.

If they are who we want them to be, they will demolish NIU.

Great teams do that.

They don't take their foot off the gas in the 2nd half, because the back up's are out for blood.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame

Exactly 100% right. Great teams know how to “step on the neck”

Trayvon Rudolph had 2 carries for 67 yards and a TD and 4 receptions for 104 yards and a TD. Another receiver had 135 total yards. Overall the team rushed for 312 and passed for 394. Ethan Hampton, the starting QB, threw up an 18/20 328 5/0 stat line, which looks impressive on paper. The guy is a career 58% passer, he's not going to complete 90% of his passes against Notre Dame.

I'd classify NIU as spunky, but I think we come out strong and put them to bed early.
