ND has sadly perfected the art of making Offense one-dimensional. Multiple staffs misunderstand that

the first job of a QB is to THROW the ball competently. The second job of a modern day QB is to have escapability.

Our offense is the best DC for every team we play and our QBs are the best pass game coordinators for the opposite team.

It's truly shocking to see this same glaring issue port across two coaching staffs. I honestly do not know how it happens. Is someone in the administration making the call?

Agree completely. And just like after Duke last year, every single defense will now have the same

plan against us. We will need to be able to run into 8 man boxes or we will need to be able to beat it deep. If Leonard is incapable of doing that, he needs to be pulled for one of the other three.

That would be leadership. Being indecisive and allowing us to go through another season like the last is not.

There is some deep seated issue. It’s been around for 30 years.

Who knows what it is. This team has talent and speed and good coaches on paper. What happened yesterday was way beyond a bad day.

Problem is obvious. We have a QB who cannot compete a forward pass.

Not one accurately down field. Combine that with an OL getting blown up on run plays, and voila.

Tough game to watch. Same old, same old despite the supposed new support from the administration and by reputation, top notch coordinators.

I disagree. WR were open and the Oline wasn't the reason ND lost.

The receiver was open when RL threw the interception and many were open several times during the game. You only needed a decent QB to win the game going away. The problem is the QB and Freeman's offensive philosophy.
