So the Irish O-Line is down 3 starters at different positions after fall camp and 2 games?

O-line chemistry is nearly as important as the talent. There's a reason it is the one position group (other than QB) in football that doesn't rotate players situationally and is almost always a majority upperclassmen even at top programs.

The sky may not be falling, but even with the Irish O-line talent pipeline this may lead to an additional loss. I still think ND should be favored in every game except USC at this point. What happens if/when another guy goes down? I think the general consensus pre-season was playoffs or bust, but how does the evaluation of the team change if the O-line play suffers? I can't think of many top teams in the past decade with this many injuries the year after losing quality starters to the draft. Craig and Schrauth were already the next men up. The backups are the next man up to the next man up.

Bad news, but at least Spindler and Coogan have starting experience

Both of those guys started for most of last season at the guard positions.

I think Coogan's snaps will get a lot better with more 1st team reps. He looked a bit tentative snapping back on Saturday, and will gain confidence.

Coogan's snaps have to get better. They look like underhand slow pitch softball tosses. Doesn't

have to be too hard to handcuff anyone just smooth and steady speed. Spindler is close to a wash, he was everybody's favorite when he was a freshman.
