That doesn't matter,
what matters is MF and ND didn't make WestcoastIrish and like minded ND "fans" look good and perform to their lofty expectations.
That's the true litmus test of whether a coach or player should be retained or not.

I've worked in healthcare software sales for 40+ yrs, albeit, not with
the same company. When I 1st started out (right out of college) and didn't hit my #'s after my 2nd year, there was no sympathy by my boss that I was young or just starting out, etc. I was shown the door. Gotta love this college coaching racket....bunch of knucklehead phys. ed. majors earning $$$ they never dreamed of and getting all of the excuses in their favor. Now I know what I'm coming back as in my next lifetime!-
