If Marcus has to give Riley the hook against Louisville next week, he better not wait too long.

If we get too far behind, it might be too deep of a hole, and we could never catch up. It would be unfair to Angeli, too.

Last night, Oklahoma HC Brett Venables pulled his "star" QB, Jackson Arnold, before the end of the first half when they were losing 19-3. The sub, Michael Hawkins, played better, leading them to two scoring drives, although TN still won, 25-15.

If we lose to Louisville, there will be no hope for a playoff spot, even though it will be hard enough, as it stands now.

Be pro-active, Marcus, not reactive!

Marcus is not taking out Riley unless he gets hurt. Ain’t gonna happen

His chance was yesterday early in 2nd quarter.

And he's tired of the QB questions at his pressers. It shows with an attitude.

To everyone else.

I do wonder about the morale of the QB room. Those guys must be thinking what do I have to do to play

MF is acting like a pouty schoolboy. He's the face of ND football. Act like it.

This team has issues besides the OL. It's the Special Teams. The DL is not playing up to expectations IMHO. How about the front 7? We have a roomful of top RBs and a Secondary room that is flipping unbelievable. We have two seasoned coordinators. We have TEs and WRs. So, the one thing we don't have is a HC willing to make an extremely hard decsion at the QB position. I want to hear all the offensive coaches, in unison, say that Riley is our best shot to the playoffs. They are at all the practices and film sessions. The question in my mind is the other "O" coaches. Are they in total agreement with MF or is this a HC decision come hell or high water? I have the luxury of looking ahead because I'm just a nobody fan on a message board, but, perhaps ND should keep a close watch on the trajectory of IU football and Curt Cignetti with the understanding that Al Golden remain at his DC position. Am I speaking out of line here?

You are nailing it, ELP
