ND will lose by 2 TD’s. Though I hope not. RL will be besieged. OL can’t hold back the onslaught.

RL hasn’t the ability to make accurate passes and receivers are unable to create immediate separation from defense. RL will be sacked at minimum a half dozen times.

This will be on MF as was NIU for not pulling RL in lieu of Angeli or anyone who can throw a football.

Louisville will load the box, forcing ND to beat them with our, ahem, passing game.

RL will predictably struggle.

Defense will keep us in the game until they start getting gassed due to all the 3 & outs courtesy of our offense.

We'll go down 10 to 0 & the offense will turn the ball over via a pick-6 or a scoop & score or giving UL the ball w/in our 10-yard line via some other idiotic turnover.

17-0 Louisville

With 7 minutes remaining in the game, Freeman will FINALLY bench RL in favor of Angeli.

Angeli immediately throws a bomb TD pass to Collins or Mitchell.

17-7

D gets a 3 & out.

Angeli leads another TD drive cutting the score to 17-14

Only 1:30 remaining in the 4Q & we have 0 timeouts due to pissing one or 2 away early in the 3Q

UL escapes by the skin of their 3 teeth by picking up a 1st down on 3rd & 7 due to the fact our D is completely exhausted due to spending almost the entire 1st half on the field

Game over

Rinse, repeat.

PS: Don't forget to stop by the bookstore on your way out & drop $300-$400 on overpriced Under Armor garbage merchandise just so you can "Be Irish!"

And if they don't, I'll have no problem kicking them while they're down.

A downfield passing game should open up big runs. Prove me wrong, Coach.

Can I just get some play action passes please?

Safeties are firing down to attack our run game. Angeli's first TD against Purdue took advantage of that, via play action. I don't recall them actually calling a set up play action for Leonard yet.

Right and RL against some crap defense couldn’t find an open receiver

even with that receiver waving his hands.

Sorry but RL has shown little ability to deliver the ball to a receiver and many times ND receivers couldn’t get separation on lesser defenses.

UL will challenge RL immediately and the OLine (left side) can’t stop decent defenders.

I’m hoping to be wrong.

Don’t forget Miami O snd NIU. UL is a better team than those two.

Most bettors do not agree that ND is going to get run off the field.

Yes! so? Most bettors believed ND was 4 TD’s better than NIU.

That line dropped from where it opened, so people weren't betting on Notre Dame to cover.

The line has dropped to ND -6.5 now, too, so a lot of money is coming in on ND so far.

I've given Freeman a ton of crap for how they've played against the MAC, but against the P4 opponents, this has been a different team. I don't know if ND will win, but I also don't ND is getting blown out at home either.

confused for much of the game.

I’m just pointing out ND’s always history. It never changes. Example, never coaching up recruited QB’s (4 star. QB’s) instead renting high cost crap transfers. Must I post Hartman and Coan now Riley ( and Riley is marginally better than those two - at least he’s mobile).

I am a doubting Thomas.

over 100 yds - mostly in first half against what is believed to be a championship caliber defense.

But I digress, Buffalo beat NIU so what do I know! 🤪
