Agreed, why not - over the past 35 yrs., the FB program (like the BB program)......
has devolved to this level that beating a "basketball" school with lesser ranked recruiting classes, is reason for huge celebrations. Moreover, if they beat Louisville, the administration will cancel all of Monday's classes....!

Nope. They actually rushed last year after beating SC.
It's become so predicable and has lost its luster years ago. I think the jump the shark moment was rushing after beating a three loss Utah. And yes, I know the context because I was there on the field as I was in every other rush since the CW days. I didn't go by my own free will. It was either get on the field or be crushed. So, let's beat the living daylights out of Louisville. Sing the alma mater with the team. Go to Mass. Then go do whatever college students do on a Saturday night.

If ND somehow smacks the crap out of UL 58-6 and the students want to rush and celebrate on the field, that's up to them. I wouldn't, that should be expected, and it's a shame it is not what is expected. But we are where we are.
Trust me, if you're sitting up front & the students want to rush, you go too or be crushed.
We never discussed that DJ jamming hip hop over the Jumbo at full volume and the chick who is screaming over the PA system about some chubby dude in the crowd dancing or some other annoying hype during every time out.
