Riley did look better in the first half. Seemed settled at time in the pocket and hit some downfield throws.
Our RBs are very good.
Our young LBs are getting more PT and making a difference.
OL might not be struggling but all this experience has to pay off
The punter has steadily improved.

Positively, Id say Leonard looked slightly improved for a quarter. Then he regressed, but it's probably more fair to say he wasn't given opportunities to lose the game by the coaches. They clearly put a cap on the offense downfield passing after that first quarter.
Love as always looks like an Alabama starter, it'd be nice to see him get more carries than Leonard. And run against less than a 9 man box.
Offensively aside from that there's not a whole lot of positives Well, one more. They finally ran a F'n screen. Brilliant!
The defense bent but didnt break, though it sure had you wondering at times. But it was nice to see they could still compete with all the injuries.
Golden needs to get it out of his head that he needs to blitz every critical down. He's needlessly aggressive at times and it costs them.
The issue is some of those (QB, o-line) won't improve enough for ND to achieve its goal of making the playoffs.
That's unacceptable.
the team responds better to Angelli. It's only a matter of time before RL goes down with an injury and he'll have no choice. BTW, I long for the days of Joe Moore. We need more athleticism on the OL, period. We've got strong, smart white guys with "dead" feet.
But for some reason they refuse to do it. And that problem needs resolved if they ever intend to compete with a good team. What boggles the mind is why they went to the portal for a QB who couldn't throw. Louisville's QB was head and shoulders better than Leonard. Every QB we've played has been better. Why the heck did they choose Leonard? It makes no sense at all.
