......sluggish, unenthused, etc. Freeman is no different....they will play in typical Freeman-esque fashion; overconfident, lack of aggressiveness & focus, etc. They'll sleepwalk the 1st half - most likely will win but by no more than 12 pts.
After Stanford/Marshall in '22, and N.I.U., this year, point spreads at when N.D. is at home mean nothing. I fully expect a close frustrating win by N.D, or an upset by Stanford. I don't expect nothing at all comfortable for N.D. in this game or any other the rest of the year. For me it is a combination of the young O-line, the injuries and the lack of cohesivness on offense, as well as the offense going radio silence for half the game, each game. Couple that with M.F., still make a few in game calls, keep all teams in the game. The one thing that would shock me is if N.D. plays fundamental football for four full quarters.
