Faison hurt his ankle again in the Louisville game and limped off, I don't expect him to play

We tend to be uninvigorated after a bye, so I guess no, but we still win

One of the few MF positive records is that he’s undefeated after a bye week!

Layoff could lead to a slow start, turnovers and incompletions.

I hope not. But we’ve seen that fish before.

That's because Riley sucks.

He's a running QB.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame

n.d. is one-dimensional with rl calling the signals. easy to defend. not good. incomprehensible.

One of the most frustrating things about this team is always wondering if this will be another week

when they will shit the bed the bed against another clearly inferior team, especially at home. This is the sign of a team that isn’t well coached and has been a trademark of the “Freeman era”. Sure upsets happen, ask the Bama coach. But they sure weren’t obsessing about a shitty game against Vandy based on recent precedent. This what our fan base is currently reduced to.

Sadly that's a Freeman trait.

3 years is a good sample size.

He's not ready.

Can’t happen in year 3 with a competent HC and the soft schedule.

Will be 2 more years of Freeman because of the optics however…

My personal opinion is, after that, college football will have “evolved” to a point that ND will have to opt for a different direction.

This has been an ND trait for years. Not saying we lose them all but slow uninspiring

Starts that linger. And then at the end we either lose or win a nail biter or sometimes comfortably.

There a lot of smart people involved in these programs and experts on faculty on all sorts if things. Someone has to look at this problem and figure what causes it. It’s not random or infrequent, it’s a significant amount if home games against inferior opponents. I believe there is a cause but have no way of knowing what it is.

Is it a laid back crowd and campus environment, is it poor preparation or over confidence, bad pregame prep, etc. it happens far too often for it not to be figured out. If the staff doesn’t recognize the problem then that’s half the problem.
