Is SC the last major potent passing team ND will see this year?

A friend's son played WR at Army. Me "He doesn't get thrown to much." Him: "But he's always open."

All our opponents deserve respect but take a look who Army / Navy have played.

Take a look at their opponent's records. I posted all that info below in another thread then left it up for fans to decide. For some reason FSU isn't getting any respect by Irish fans but I will. It's just the nature of the ND beast that we should be cautious of all our opponents. FSU will be playing on prime time national TV and they have nothing to lose.

So escaping with a thin margin on any of the teams won’t help the perception.

Schedule is why ND may get passed in polls each weak by someone lower. No chance

for a big win left on schedule.

Agree. And the credibily problem is exacerbated by ND's flaccid signature game record.

ND (and Penn State) both have a pretender problem.

That gets corrected by winning signature games, which is hard when signature games are not on the schedule for ND.

And our performance in previous CFPs…while not a criteria

I’m sure is in the back of the minds of the board members.

Exactly. That's why 2 loss SEC / Big10 teams could be ranked above an 11-1 ND
