BYU is 7-0 now. The school is 98% Mormon, yet Jake Retzlaff, their Jewish QB, is their star.
He led them to a thrilling last minute 38-35 victory over Oklahoma St. last night.

BYU can go undefeated. Even an 11-1 BYU with a Power loss would mean what for ND with NIU loss?
And a weak schedule with 4 non-Power opponents.

Level 2
They're in the Big 12.
If they win the title they will be a top 4 seed.

Level 3
Thanks, I forgot. The real ambiguity is Power teams w/2 Power losses vs. 11-1 ND with NIU loss.
And a weak schedule with 4 non-Power opponents.

Level 4
Worst case for 11-1 ND is all 4 conferences have an unbeaten in Conf Championship game and all lose
They would likely snatch up the 5-8 seeds, leaving ND and a bunch of 2+ loss teams grabbing for only 3 spots.

He's not very observant.
His game last weekend kicked off at 2pm..on Yom Kippur.

He is observant, wears the Star of David medallion, but decided to play on Yom Kippur.

Level 3
That's not being observant.
Yom Kippur is the holiest day of the year, by far.
We must fast (food and water), not shower, not wear leather, ect and obviously attend shul most of the day.
It always sucks when it falls on weekend, but it doesn't give any of us a pass.

Thank you.
I'll mark him down for not being observant this year, but he has many years ahead to make up for it. I wonder if there's a single temple in Utah.
I do give him credit for going to a school founded by religious zealots.
Shalom.

My roommate had a LDS girlfriend. She was good
at finding and exploiting some loopholes in their rules.
