Sorry to break it to you guys, but we should be rooting for Michigan the rest of the year.

Of the 4 Big Ten teams ahead of us for playoff contention (ORE, OSU, PSU, IND), 3 of them play Michigan.

ORE's remaining schedule: IL, @MI, MD, @WIS, WAS
OSU's remaining schedule: NEB, @PSU, PUR, @NW, IND, MI
PSU's remaining schedule: @WIS, OSU, WAS, @PUR, @MIN, MD
IND's remaining schedule: WAS, @MSU, MI, @OSU, PUR

Of course we can hope for major upsets, but with ORE and PSU sitting undefeated with a weak schedule left, you can kind of pencil those two into the playoffs. So if MI were to beat OSU and IND, this would help us out a ton in both making the playoffs and in seeding. Fucking Michigan.

IU's QB has a broken thumb

6th year senior QB Kurtis Rourke, who has been having a very fine year, is out for a while with a broken thumb.

I honestly don't know how good the replacement(s) may be, but to lose an established, polished starter like that can't be good with at least three tough games remaining.

Roarke will play if needed. I broke my right thumb and didn't stop playing second base and of course still batted.

Michigan hired a dud for a HC. It will prove to be a very costly mistake.

Some might say ND did the same thing. Still don’t trust freeman to get teams prepared

Never. If we need to root for them to help reach our goals, then we just aren't good enough.

If you have no soul, core convictions, moral grounding....then please forget everything you ever knew and openly support something that you previously despised.....all because it might be incrementally positive for Notre Dame.

I mean - sure - if you stand for nothing, be my guest.

I'm from Philly, so like Penn St. Agree Franklin (& ND) are too often signature game train wrecks.

I'm hoping the Phillies can sign Sosa. They won't be able to pitch around Harper with him on deck!

I will never root for Michigan. Ever.

ND lost to NIU, so tough shit on the playoff.

So you would rather not have a chance at playoffs. Are all your decisions emotional with no logic?

they have potential this year which scares me because they believe they are holy when in fact they are FAKERS and DENIERS), Miami Hurricanes(all time dirtiest and obnoxious team), Michigan Wolverines(obnoxious and either redneck or arrogant fans), USC(potential to be as arrogant as Michigan fans and obnoxious as Miami fans and tough for us because they are a rival, but somewhat down, so the dislike is not as strong. If they get good though they will become Miami II.) Clemson (because though their fans are ok that asshole linebacker they had, I think his number was 47, cheap-shot Michael Mayer even though that game was basically over). Texas, though I like their tradition and uniforms, I will never forgive them the way they targeted Tori Hunter and basically ruined his career and laughed about it in the stands)

This hand-wringing about playoffs is nuts. Time to join a conference, IMO.

And stop scheduling 4 non-Power teams, also dropping Navy as a perpetual opponent.
