If USC has remained in the Pac 12 they would be just fine.

Agree. The legacy rivalries are gone or diluted. Who wants to fly cross-country to play Rutgers?

Football - they are making so much money - might make sense. What about girls field hockey, etc.

Absolutely, I think at the PAC at least they are talking creating regional minor sports conferences

If it shakes out to a few nation-wide mega-conferences...they will all do this.

It is lunacy and unfair to serious STUDENT-athletes...to have them travel all over creation to play their sports while trying to study in a demanding major...

The conferences will do it based on cost alone though.

Giving a crap about studies is not the priority at most "institutions of higher learning"...

I'm not sure remaining in that conference would have mitigated Riley's coaching/recruiting.

The fact that he doesn't seem to recruit the Trinity League with any regularity is grounds for immediate termination.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame
