The NCAA, conferences, someone, needs to end this bullshit.

Last night featured those gentile Clemson fans throwing a tantrum.

It's time to penalize the crowd.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame

a fire under them if they get in the finals of their conference. Yes, those fans are nice when they are winning but like Michigan fans go the other way when they struggle. Still fan behavior is fast becoming a reflection of current behavior of people in our country.

Should be a 15 yard penalty and empty the stadium. Do that once and it will end.

A bunch of fans throw bottles on the field after a controversial call. Replay to see exactly what fan threw what?

Wrong! The refs who overturned a non-renewable call after TX fans threw shit on the field

are the ones who set the terrible precedent.

We have seen angry fans throw shit on the field in years past, but it never became 'the thing' to do became refs never fraudulently overturned a call after fans did that before.

This is not speaking to the correctness of the call, the initial PI call was terrible, in fact the more correct call would have been offensive PI on Georgia, so when they reversed the PI they actually got the call right....BUT you still can't do it, PI isn't reviewable and there's no way you'll convince me or anyone else who was watching that it wasn't "reviewed" on the jombotron during the delay caused by the fans throwing shit on the field.

Now it's a thing because everyone thinks if a call is bad enough, you just throw shit on the field and maybe they'll correct it like they did for Texas.

ND stadium has zero tolerance for throwing objects yet stadium ushers don't enforce the policy.

Plastic water bottles, these little miini plastic bottles of booze, apples, frozen marshmallows. Sometimes it reaches the field. Sometimes it hits fans, cheerleaders, NBC camerman, security, ushers, marching band members, and yes, even the team bench. Very little if any enforcement by ushers or security. It's the student section that are the problem. Things around the country might get worse before it gets better. We will see.
