If the head coaching job at nd is so difficult and restrictions so bad then why
When every coach in my lifetime has left ..they have done worse or maybe the same...faust mediocre ...holtz took a rebuild thats different..davie sucked...ty sucked..weis sucked..kelly is self destructing but with a tougher schedule.. heck nd might have propped up some of these guys..this you cant win at nd stuff is so played out..when a coach leaves then lights it up somewhere else il buy into that nonsense.. the media is so full of excrement

ND is NOT a hard place to win at...ND ***IS*** one of the hardest places to satisfy the fan base at.
So in terms of how hard it is to coach here, there is some accuracy to that. But historically almost every single coach (good ones, bad ones, mediocre ones, all of em) who coached at ND and other stops, had a significantly higher win % at ND than their other stops.
I respectfully disagree, especially in this NIL era.
Look at the programs at Colorado, SMU and Mississippi. All three paid a ton to bring in one year talent and all three are having incredible seasons. Yes we spent a little on a couple guys but they were already serious college students and we will proud to be ND Alums. I felt so proud seeing the pics of Tyree’s ND graduation. None of the hired guns at the premier teams gives a sh*t about his degree OR college experience.
