While he was here during Kelly 2.0, it was pretty much the norm that we'd be contending for a top 10 spot, and even managing to make it to the playoffs, only to find out that we were still a notch below the big boys at the time (tOSU, Alabama, Clemson).
Judging by the choke jobs at LSU, his ceiling may have been even lower than we originally thought. He was supposed to have a better facility, better recruiting, better players, etc.
He even had the Heisman winner guiding his team last year.
