...no one is currently Top 5 in both of these, but Notre Dame is very close as SMU is only .3 ppg higher than us at #5.

One concern when using total defense (yards) is that they seem to be a bend but don’t break defense this year. They do fairly well in the red zone but give up easy completions and play a pretty soft zone.
